The founder of this site is a passionate enthusiast of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. He has owned three generations of the S-Class: W221, W222 and W223. Over the years, he has taken numerous road trips and devoted himself to researching the chassis characteristics, maintenance tips and long-distance driving experience of these three generations.
During his journey with these vehicles, he found that online resources for the S-Class are scattered and often unreliable. There is a lack of first-hand road trip journals and real ownership insights from genuine car owners. For this reason, the blog “Carl’s Mercedes” was created. It aims to gather authentic ownership records from S-Class owners worldwide, including long-distance travel stories, chassis feedback, maintenance pitfalls to avoid, and modification experiences.
Vehicles mentioned in articles are personally purchased, rented, or provided by fellow car enthusiasts. The goal is to experience the real-world performance of the Mercedes S-Class first-hand. This platform records the founder’s own automotive journey, helps fellow owners enjoy the pleasure of driving, and shares every moment with these cars.
